Privacy Policy

We've kept this short and plain. Coppr is a budgeting app for iPhone, published by Mihai Ghiga. There are no accounts and no sign-up — your budget lives on your phone, not on our servers.
Your data stays on your phone
Your budget, spending entries, categories, and tracked subscriptions are stored only on your device. We don't upload them, and we keep no copy. Delete the app and they're gone.
When you log an expense
To turn what you type or say into a tidy entry, we send that text to trusted AI backend services. We don't attach your name, email, or any account — there isn't one. If you're offline, Coppr sorts it out on your device instead, and nothing is sent.
Logging by voice
If you log an expense by speaking, Apple transcribes your voice into text — the same way Siri dictation works. That's handled by Apple under its own privacy policy.
Analytics & crash reports
We use analytics to see which features people use and to catch crashes so we can fix them. This never includes your spending amounts or the text of what you logged — just anonymous usage and diagnostic information.
Subscriptions & payments
Paid features are unlocked with a subscription. Payments are handled entirely by Apple — we never see or store your card details. We use a subscription service (RevenueCat) to check whether your subscription is active.
Services we rely on
To run these features we work with a few trusted providers: Apple (payments and voice transcription), our AI backend services (to read your logged text), RevenueCat (subscriptions), and PostHog (analytics and crash reports). Each only handles what it needs to do its job.
What we don't do
- No ads and no ad tracking.
- We never sell or share your personal information.
- No accounts, no passwords, no email collection.
- No access to your location, contacts, photos, or health data.
Your choices
Because your data lives on your phone, you're in control — edit or delete entries any time, or remove everything by deleting the app. If you'd like us to help with anything we hold, or you have a privacy question, just email support@copprapp.com.
Children
Coppr isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the date above. Continuing to use Coppr means you're happy with the update.
